Hello all!
I have a beautiful soon-to-be, four year-old, God son, who loves to dance. You put on anything with a beat on and he's moving! And lately I've caught him imitating my hip movements and even giving me a little shoulder shimmy. I LOVE IT. Luckily, his pops is cool with all of this and have even allowed me to sew a little hip sash for him. I'd love to buy a bellydance video featuring one of our wonderful male dancers, but I haven't seen any around. Any suggestions out there?

Sun, May 11, 2008 - 8:29 AMhis dancing is EXCELLENT. His Zill playing during some of the instruction was off-beat (but then I was a percussionist YEARS before I even heard of bellydancing) This DVD is a great choice, bummer Wesley isn't on tribe.

I had no idea this DVD was available.
Do you think maybe the sound was dubbed in later and made the zills sound off? -

Sun, May 11, 2008 - 11:11 AMNope, its live sound as for as I know. Cory is one of our local instructors in Fresno. Westley relocated to Washington and Gregory still dances at local ren fairs. Wes is on myspace though i think. He was my inspiration in the beginning for both BD and poi spinning.
