Oh too funny. We're going back to our pictures and play spot-the-dancer.
That was a cool place. The convent vibe added to it. Did you stay on-site, or nearby? I think we stayed at a Holiday Inn down the road, along with something like a NASCAR convention. Interesting mix. :) -

What I find upsetting is that Katrina pretty much levelled Slidell. I don't even know if the town is there anymore, as the destruction was so total. All that was left was the pilings from the docks on the lake. :/
Yes, I danced with Bambi (big, wonderful black lady... you won't be able to miss her...) one night. We did a duet that she and I remember to this day.
